Anh Linh Visit: January 2009
This year was a very special occasion. The new primary school was to have a grand opening celebration and Jerri was invited to participate in the ribbon cutting.

We arrived days before the ceremony to help package Tet gifts for the parents of the children and “new” money for the children, a Tet tradition.
On the day of the celebration the children and their families came to the school along with local school board officials and many important guests. The highlight came when Jerri and Sister Tecla cut the ribbon for the new school.
The new school is the delight of children and teachers alike. The spacious and open classrooms provide plenty of light and circulation so the children can study in relative comfort.
