KSTP-TV Channel 5, the upper Midwest's first commercial television station, is owned by the pioneering broadcasting company Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. Channel 5 signed on the air April 27, 1948 and today remains the only locally owned locally operated broadcasting company in the Twin Cities. Hubbard Broadcasting Foundation dispurses funds to support the local community.

The Hubbard Broadcasting Foundation is Bridges to Learning's highest corporate sponsor. Committing $2,000 to the 2011 Investing in Hope Gala and further financial assistance in the future, Bridges to Learning welcomes this new involvement.

For the past few years Hubbard has provided B2L with Jason Davis, TV anchor, for the annual gala MC. However, the connection first started when KSTP did a TV story on a Vietnamese immigrant family who came to Minnesota. This family happens to be Yen Le (Board President Liem Nguyen's wife) and her parents.

Singapore American School

http://www.sas.edu.sg/

Established in 1956, the Singapore American School (SAS) is an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school offering an American based curriculum for preschool through grade 12 expatriate students.

At the initiative of an altruistic 16 year-old, Michael Hsun got in contact with Anh Linh School. During the summer of 2010 he visited to learn more and see how he could help while engaging his fellow peers back home. Through Outreach Vietnam, their service club, students and staff have been working with the Anh Linh School to create a website. Please visit it to stay up-to-date on what events are happening at Anh Linh.
